Purpose
These terms govern the use of the studento.fr site and subscription to Studento services: housing certificate (ADL), help finding housing, free diagnostic, study project guidance, travel insurance, and AVI funding. By using the site or placing an order, you accept these terms.
Description of services
- Free diagnostic — an initial opinion on your study project, with no obligation.
- Housing certificate (ADL) — issuance of the official document for housing already found in France.
- Help finding housing — support from our team to find suitable housing.
- Guidance, travel insurance, AVI funding — services described in detail on the Services and Pricing pages.
Studento acts as a support provider: we do everything we can to help you build a solid application, but we cannot guarantee that you will obtain a visa, an admission, or housing, as these decisions belong to the relevant third-party authorities and organizations.
User account
Some services require creating an account. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for the accuracy of the information provided — in particular your identity and passport number, which must match your official documents exactly for your certificate to be valid.
Pricing and payment
Current prices are shown on the Certificate request and Pricing pages at the time of order, in euros, all taxes included. Payment can be made by card or PayPal (Stripe), Mobile Money (CinetPay), bank transfer, or cash at a partner bank, depending on the methods offered on the payment page. Processing of your request starts once payment is confirmed — for a bank transfer or cash deposit, this confirmation happens within 24 to 48 business hours after receipt of proof of payment.
Timelines
The timelines shown (48 to 72h for the ADL, 24 to 48h for starting a housing search) are provided for guidance and run from payment confirmation. They may vary depending on the complexity of the file.
Withdrawal and refund
In accordance with Article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply once performance of the service has begun with your express agreement. If the service has not yet started, you can request cancellation and a refund by writing to contact@studento.fr.
Liability
Studento implements the means necessary for the proper performance of the services ordered. Our liability cannot be engaged in the event of refusal by a third party (embassy, institution, landlord...) based on criteria that do not depend on our support, nor in the event of inaccurate information provided by the user.
Closing an account
You can request deletion of your account at any time by writing to contact@studento.fr. Studento reserves the right to suspend an account in the event of fraudulent use or failure to comply with these terms.
Intellectual property and content extraction
All content on the site (text, pricing, layout, visuals) is the property of Studento. Any automated extraction, copying or reproduction of the site's content (scraping, data harvesting, robots other than legitimate search engines) is prohibited without prior written authorization.
Applicable law
These terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution will be sought as a priority by contacting us directly.
